NYE Dinner Party

This year I am excited to host and bring in the New Year with our sweet neighbors. We plan on a yummy dinner, balloon pop countdown with the kids, and fireworks!

I love how balloons look over a table like this but they can be such a pain. So I figured out a better way to achieve this without paying a dollar each for helium and having to fill the day of. Using an inexpensive balloon pump we filled each with air, then tied a string. I use these glue dots, they hold up really well, are really cheap and I am always finding new uses for them! If you are worried about buying so many for one event, don’t, you’ll be using them all the time!

I found these flatware sets at Homegoods earlier this year, I haven’t seen them since but I have found at the At Home store and on Amazon. They are plastic and technically disposable but I hand wash them and use over and over so they are great investment.

The napkins are actually just shredded fabric from Hobby Lobby. The slightly frayed edges give this dressy table a casual feel.

The whimsical dried floral is called Stardust, so appropriate for this occasion, and is from Afloral. It's my all time favorite item from them and I use it all of the time!

These gilded candle holders are from Afloral and I have found myself using them over and over. They are simple and classic, always creating the most beautiful centerpiece. The flutes and wine glasses are from the At Home store. The starburst are actually ornaments from this Christmas season at Target.
